TRAINER
Johannes not only has an artistic education in his discipline Chinese Pole and acrobatics (circus school Codarts, Rotterdam), but is also a trained teacher (teaching degree in sports and math at the Technical University of Munich). His second passion besides artistry is therefore unsurprisingly working as a trainer. As a trained circus educator, Johannes can give workshops or weekly classes in many different circus disciplines. In his work as a trainer, it is important to Johannes that his protégés not only learn the right techniques, but also the ability to express themselves artistically. Johannes is convinced that both are skills that can help anyone get ahead in life.​
Workshops
Also, as a trainer Johannes has a lot of experience in imparting knowledge of different circus disciplines. He gives workshops for adults as well as for children and teenagers. He differentiates between workshops for people interested in circus with previous knowledge and people interested in circus without previous knowledge. Johannes gives workshops for Chinese Pole on a professional level. He also offers workshops on partner acrobatics at advanced level and floor acrobatics and handstand workshops for beginners. Circus courses and holiday courses
As a trained circus educator, Johannes can give lessons and vacation courses for beginners in circus disciplines of all kinds. These include the disciplines of trapeze, rola bola, partner acrobatics, juggling, walking globe and tumbling. A vacation course can take the form of a week-long circus retreat for children and teens, for example. During this time, participants are introduced to the circus through educational work, can discover it and try out the various disciplines. Johannes also offers courses for professional development and continuing education for trainers. Among other things, he teaches at the Kleine-Nestler-Schule gemeinn.
